What kind of people attend JFMC?
The people of JFMC are people just like you ...
people who are looking for hope, wholeness and joy in a world that can
take that from us at times. At JFMC there is no "us" or "them"...
just "we." You'll find a very welcoming atmosphere from the moment
you walk in. That's how we share the love that God has shown to
each of us. You see, we already have so much in common... come on
in and check things out.

How do people dress for the services?
At JFMC, please feel free to come as you are. Most people dress fairly
casual on Sundays, while others are comfortable in something more
formal. That's the great part about God: He already knows what's inside
each of us and yet wants to be in relationship with us. He's most
delighted with open hearts, not shiny appearances.

What are the services like?
Each service lasts just one hour and consists of a time of singing,
prayer, giving and a message from our Pastor. The music is presented by
our worship team and is uplifting and a mix of both old and new music.
Our time of prayer invites each of us to bring our needs before
God and pray for others who have come to do the same. We give back to
God because He has given so much to us. Finally, we hear the spoken
Word to grow in our knowledge of God so we can be in a deeper
relationship with Him. In all we do, worship is our opportunity to
hear from, and respond to God. We celebrate the Lord's Supper or
communion the second Sunday of each month. At JFMC, communion is
open to all who desire to draw closer to God.

What are the Sunday Messages Like?
The messages from our Pastor are presented in a
series format all based on the timeless truths of God's Word, the
Bible. We believe the that Word of God is alive and
therefore has the power to transform our lives unlike any other book. Scripture verses
are read from translations of the Bible that are easily understood, and
Biblical principles are presented in ways to challenge us to become all
God has designed us to be. The Word of God is life to us and therefore
we believe that each time the Word of God is spoken, it will do its work
in our lives.

What kinds of opportunities exist for children?
Children are one of God's greatest gifts. There
is a great Sunday School program available for children from Mid September
through Late June. We also care for babies in our infant nursery and
have programs for toddlers as well. |

What is available for those with disabilities?
JFMC's facility is an open, warm and welcoming space
that is fully handicapped-accessible for worship services. We are
honored to welcome into worship each week, people with a variety of
disabilities.
